Club Championship Participants

LM Mark Kernighan (the 2008 winner), NM Praveen Balakrishnan (the reigning champ) and Dr. Ian Mangion are the top-seeds in the 23rd Kenilworth Chess Club Championship which began last night.

17 players are taking part, including 2 new members and 5 others who didn't play in last year's event. However, half of 2013's field are is sitting-out.
